These days there are increased concern and responsibility among the public about health
and its proper maintenance. This is, no doubt, a very happy turn around. But it is not enough to maintain only physical fitness.
The veteran rationalist and communist leader Govindrao Pansare died on 20th February 2015 after battling for life at hospitals at Kolhapur and Mumbai. He succumbed to death after a dastardly attack by so far unidentified men who shot him and his wife while on their morning walk on 16th February 2015.

Can we say DK as a reform movement, the social issues (bearing benefits fructifying in longer run) taken up by it has no resonance with the common voters, who are mainly concerned about material benefits which are of short ranged?
Our ‘democracy’ has its own peculiar traits.
Our voters due to their poverty and ignorance, they succumb to money power, muscle power, media power – the three powerful ‘M’ s. Hence it is not an easy job to win them with our Mind power. But definitely they will change in future.
