Thinking acumen is the unique trait of humans. Other living beings may be impulsive and sometimes expressive by bodily gestures . Beyond that they cannot do any deed with reasoning . Thinking faculty of human is fundamental for the civilization for their progress. But the reality remains as many persons do not subject themselves to thought-process and do not apply their minds adequately.
Thomas Paine says, “To argue with a man who has renounced the use of authority of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.” This statement is well explained below :
A conflict between religion and science always results in the victory of science. Faith is one of the cornerstones of any religion. Generally religion says " Believe or be dammed." Theology abhors investigation and denounces reason. It is, therefore, useless to discuss anything with a religious person who has closed mind.
Denial of permission to what is called ‘Cultural Programmes’ in temples is not only justifiable but appreciable as well. In a place where solemn prayers, chanting of mantras and if possible meditation are customarily permissible for those who believe in God and go to the temples for worshipping.
