Extremely happy to know and to congratulate Dr. A.Sivathanu Pillai on the conferment of the highest award of the Order of Merit on him by the President of Russia Mr. Vladmir Putin. This has been accorded to Dr. Pillai for having successfully activated and launched the Brahmos Missile last year.

This recognition follows the close relationship that exists and gets strengthened further between India and Russia.
